Labyrinth

I take two steps then I regress
From this precipice I can see the journey is long but the lessons remain unlearned yet
A gnarled labyrinth with beauty of an entirely new categorization
My realizations
Hesitations
Frustrations
My great Lamentations
For what?
After 26 years this dance still has me stuck
The needle hit a bump
And this melody
This melody
Waltzes me back into a rut
To ask for understanding
Is an unfair request indeed
As I struggle
To successfully contemplate
The labyrinth that is me
